Cultural design narrative
Landscape routes become a choice of movement lines; an open frame keeps the emphasis on climbing rather than enclosed architecture.
Timber courtyard organisation, restrained roof silhouettes and landscape relationships translated into original child-focused play concepts.
Proposed play journey
- Choose a movement line
- Climb, balance or follow the ground route
- Regroup in the shaded rest space
Potential application: Activity parks and school outdoor environments
