Padel court technical submittals: what to request.

A generic brochure is not a construction submission. Check the issuer, model, revision, date, application and limits of every document before it is relied on for design or procurement.

Request a project quotation

Planning guidance only · no project-specific engineering or supplier approval is implied.

TECHNICAL GATE

This is early planning guidance. Site conditions, local regulations, supplier information and qualified project engineering must be reviewed before specification or construction.

Request a controlled document set

Every document should identify its issuer, named manufacturer and model, revision, date and intended use. Keep superseded versions separate and record open questions; do not combine a drawing for one model with certificates for another.

  • General arrangement, component schedule and installation drawings
  • Structural calculations, design actions, connections and anchorage details
  • Foundation reactions, base tolerances and site prerequisites
  • Glass panel specification, fixing details and replacement procedure
  • Steel grade, protective coating, fasteners and corrosion information

Review surface and lighting information

For turf, request the exact product data, fibre and backing information, infill specification, installation method, maintenance instructions and compatibility with the proposed court. Check who supplies and installs it.

For lighting, request the luminaire schedule, photometric files and calculations, glare and spill review, electrical load, controls, mounting details, protection rating and warranty. The design must match the venue, operating use and applicable local requirements.

Keep standards and claims within their evidence

Ask the supplier to identify the standard, test method, issuing body, product scope and validity for every compliance claim. A catalogue statement or a reference to a federation does not itself certify a different model or establish an AG distributorship. The project engineer and authorities determine the applicable requirements for the site.

Close the delivery and handover gaps

The submission should also cover lifting and handling, installation sequence, inspection and test plan, commissioning, maintenance, warranty exclusions, replacement parts and operator handover. Agree which party is responsible for each item before the purchase order.

REVIEW CHECKLIST

Build the right
brief around the site.

Use these points to invite comparable, evidence-backed proposals from qualified manufacturers and project consultants.

01

General arrangement and installation drawings with revision control

02

Structural calculations, connections, anchorage and foundation reactions

03

Glass, steel, coating, fastener, turf and lighting material records

04

Installation, inspection, maintenance, warranty and replacement procedures

ENGINEERING REVIEW

Evidence first.
Specification after.

This is early planning guidance. Site conditions, local regulations, supplier information and qualified project engineering must be reviewed before specification or construction. Dimensions and installation requirements must be confirmed against the selected manufacturer’s approved documentation and local regulations.
